Bex Olesek has been having a love affair with creating since she was an infant and first discovered she could shove paper in her mouth. She built cities out of empty toilet paper rolls on the kitchen floor and made a habit of staying up all night to paint on whatever flat surface she could find.

At 25, she is a published songwriter, poet, and freelance illustrator. She is passionate about working to tell better stories, and emulates the wonder and adventure of her younger self in this.

She has the privilege of working on projects of all kinds.

She recently completed illustrating her first children’s book, We Have the Same Heart, written by Shenley Seabrook, and is currently Art Directing for STORY 2021, Better.

Bex Olesek originally hails from the suburbs of Chicago, and after a brief run in Los Angeles, has made Nashville, Tennessee her home.
